Pacific Capital International Pty Ltd (ABN 24 604 034 693) and its related companies, including subsidiaries and related companies that may be formed in the future and which provide you a copy of, link to or direct you to this Privacy Policy (collectively in this Privacy Policy referred to as “Pacific Capital”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “our companies”) respect the privacy of your personal information. We are bound by and adhere to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles under that Act (“Privacy Act”), as amended from time to time.

This Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which we handle and manage all personal information we collect about you as a customer, supplier or visitor to paccap.com.au (“our website”) or person making an enquiry directed to us, whether such information is provided to us by you or a third party and whether via the internet, in person, over the phone or otherwise.

We collect personal information that is necessary for our business activities and in order to provide and develop our services.  We may do this in a number of ways, including:

(d) by analysing records of your use of our services and Website; or

When you visit our website we may also obtain de-identified/anonymous information from your computer, without your knowledge, through the use of cookies. It does not identify you or give us access to your computer but it does enable our computer to recognise your computer each time you visit any of our websites and provide certain statistical information. In the course of Pacific Capital’s ordinary business operations Pacific Capital does not disclose personal information to offshore third parties, however Pacific Capital uses a cloud-based software system to store your personal information, and as a result some of your information may be held overseas.

We will not disclose your personal information to a third party for any other purpose, unless required or permitted by law or a court or tribunal order to do so. 


Access, update and correction of personal information 


We take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information held by us about you is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, we require you to advise us of any changes to your personal information.

You may request access to your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details noted under “Our contact details” below, including for the purpose of correcting or updating that information. There is no charge for making such a request or providing you access to your personal information. We will respond and deal with your request within a reasonable period of time from the time it is made.

If we refuse to provide you access we will provide you with a written noticed that outlines the reasons for the refusal.


Security of personal information 


We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss and from unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure. However, our data protection measures are not a guarantee of the security of your personal information. You must also take care to protect your personal information.
